BIOGRAPHY

Lester Square is an artist/musician who emerged from the melting pot of what Pete Frame called ‘The Art School Dance’ of the 1970s to forge a career in both fields. At Hornsey Art School, he cut his musical teeth as a founder member of Adam and the Ants and went on to co-found The Monochrome Set. In the field of the visual arts, he is art consultant to The Princes Teaching Institute and continues to work in both figurative and non-figurative styles.

Much of his output has been in collaboration with other artists such as the Arts Council sponsored INTERPLAY performance art group.
